An Mal Cotton suit set that does almost nothing — and means everything it does. The fabric is a natural off-white with the soft matte finish Mal Cotton is known for. The A-line kurta is entirely plain except for a large-scale position botanical print at the lower body — oversized climbing flowers and leaves in dusty pink and sage green, rising from one side of the hem upward in the hand-painted quality of genuine block print work. A pink thread border runs along the V-placket and the 3/4 sleeve cuffs; a small fabric button sits at the chest. The matching ivory straight pant is plain. The matching ivory Mal Cotton dupatta carries a pink border along all edges and drapes with natural lightness.
