Natural Crepe Position Print Floral Fabric
Black · Cream · 52" Width · 100 GSM · Viscose Blend
M'Foks Natural Crepe Position Print Floral is a viscose blend crepe fabric carrying a delicate floral print placed as a position design across a 48-inch zone. The natural crepe base has a subtly pebbled, organic surface — softer and more fluid than polyester crepe — with a drape that falls naturally and moves well in motion. The viscose blend gives the fabric a silk-like feel and a comfortable breathability that synthetic-only crepe cannot match.
The two-shade range — Black and Cream — is a deliberate choice. Black gives the floral print a dramatic, high-contrast appearance suited to evening, carnival, and indo-western looks. Cream renders the same print in a soft, understated way suited to daywear, couples co-ord, and summer occasion outfits. The 52-inch total width — wider than standard 44-inch — is particularly useful for wide saree drapes, full-width dupattas, and wide-panel kurta or gown cuts without seaming.
At 100 grams per metre, the fabric is lightweight and layerable. It drapes fluidly for sarees and flows freely for flared kurta hems and dress silhouettes, while still having enough body to hold a clean indo-western or structured jacket cut.

What garments work best with this fabric?
Menswear: indo-western jacket, sherwani, carnival outfit, fusion kurta, bandhgala. Womenswear: saree, anarkali, flared dress, designer gown, coord set, dupatta. The position floral print is especially effective as a saree pallu or border, a kurta front stripe, or a hem panel on a flared dress or anarkali.
Which shade — Black or Cream?
Black: high-contrast floral, bolder look — best for evening wear, carnival, stage, and indo-western silhouettes. Cream: soft and elegant — best for daywear, couples co-ord, summer occasions, and sarees. For a couples set, Black (men) + Cream (women) is a classic pairing from the same floral fabric.
Can this be used for a carnival or performance outfit?
Yes — the Black shade specifically is a strong choice for carnival and performance looks. The floral position print creates visual interest and the crepe base moves fluidly during performance. For carnival, cut wide panels from the 52-inch width and use the floral zone as the front feature, with plain crepe lining or backing.
How many metres do I need?
Saree: 5.5–6 m. Anarkali or long dress: 3–4 m. Kurta (knee length): 2.5–3 m. Indo-western jacket: 2–2.5 m. Dupatta: 2.5 m. Couples set: 5–6 m total. Add 10% for position print layout adjustment.
Does this fabric need a lining?
For sarees and dupattas — no lining needed. For structured garments like jackets, indo-western coats, and fitted bodices — a lightweight lining adds structure and a clean interior. Viscose crepe at 100 GSM has some translucency, so fitted garments benefit from a matching tone lining for opacity.
-
1Place the print zone first
Identify where the floral position print falls — and plan which part of your garment it will feature on (hem, yoke, front panel) before cutting. The 52" width gives you more flexibility than standard fabric.
-
2Handle carefully — crepe shifts
Viscose crepe is slippery. Pin to a cutting mat, use weights, and cut single layers for precision on print-placed panels.
-
3Fine needle + finish edges
Fine ballpoint needle (70/10 or 75/11). Serge or zigzag all raw edges immediately — viscose crepe frays at cut edges.
-
•Wash
Hand wash cold or gentle machine cycle in mesh bag. Mild detergent. Do not soak.
-
•Dry
Hang in shade. Do not wring — viscose weakens and distorts when twisted wet.
-
•Iron
Medium heat (rayon/viscose setting) on the reverse side. Do not steam directly on the print — some floral inks bleed under high steam.
⚠ Do not wring or twist when wet — viscose crepe distorts permanently. Iron reverse side only to protect the floral print. Work width is 48" within 52" total — plan visible panels within this zone.
