Colour & Shade Variation
Navy Blue is a rich, saturated indigo-navy. Please note: screen rendering varies significantly across devices — the shade may appear cooler (more blue-black) on OLED displays or warmer (more indigo) on standard LCD panels. The photographed swatch is the closest reference to true colour under natural daylight. We strongly recommend requesting a physical swatch before cutting.

This is a plain-weave handloom fabric. By nature, handloom weaving introduces:
- Slubs — small, irregular thickening of yarn at intervals; a mark of authenticity, not a defect
- Subtle weave irregularities — minor variation in thread density across the width
- Natural texture — a gentle hand-feel distinct from mill-woven fabric; softens further with washing
These characteristics are intrinsic to handloom craft and are celebrated, not corrected.
Care & Colourfastness
- First wash: soak in cold water with 1 tsp salt or white vinegar to set the colour — do not skip
- Machine wash cold, gentle cycle; or hand wash in cold water
- Wash dark shades separately for the first 2–3 washes
- Do not bleach; avoid prolonged soaking
- Dry in shade — direct sunlight will fade navy tones over time
- Medium iron on reverse side while slightly damp; steam-iron friendly
- Pre-wash shrinkage: allow approximately 3–5% before cutting to measure
