A classic small check, woven not printed

This beige micro gingham check fabric is 44 inches wide and yarn-dyed, so the checks are built into the weave rather than printed onto the surface. Narrow beige bands cross off-white bands in both directions, giving you the true gingham effect: a light square, a beige square, and a soft blended square where the two meet.

Because the colour goes right through the yarn, the pattern reads the same on both faces and softens gracefully with washing instead of fading off the surface. The fine scale keeps it easy to wear — it reads as texture from a distance and as a crisp check up close.

Care & cutting

Pre-wash before cutting to allow for 2–5% shrinkage. Cold hand wash separately for the first few washes, mild detergent, no bleach, dry in shade. Test-wash a small cutting before committing to a full garment. Actual shade can vary slightly with your screen and with lighting.
